Live never ending Tale, short LneT, is a Live operating system that has a particular installation and operation that makes it different to the others.

LneT is the answer to the user needs because is simple to install and tune, the user will find from the first time the most common applications he uses, also he can customize it according to his tastes or needs, adding a few applications to choose from several thousands available in Debian-GNU/Linux, also has an excellent performance and great reliability.

Can be installed in most storage devices (hard disk, USB/Flash memories, removable disks, CD's...), making a simple copy of the compressed files of the LneT operating system, and configuring the boot manager accordingly.

Is a Live operating system that has full persistence of the filesystems, so it saves the changes you make.

It don't need full disk partitions, but uses directories within a partition, so it can share a partition with another GNU/Linux operating system.

The behavior of the whole system can be fine-tuned just by changing the parameters in a configuration file.

The desktop environments of LneT have the same appearance, and the same working behavior, even better, than the desktops of other modern operating systems. You can choose between the desktop environment KDE4, is the most complete, suitable to work on moderately powerful computers installed on hard disk; and the desktop environment XFCE, for bottom-line machines or to install on USB sticks or Flash memories.

I have released LneT for PC architecture compatible computers, using Intel compatible processors of type i386/686 and also 64-bit processors AMD64 and Intel EM64T.

You can try Live never ending Tale starting it from CD-ROM without installing. The hardware devices are automatically detected and configured.

Later, taking a moment to read the documentation, we can install it on any storage device; configure LneT to do persistence of the changes we make, and customize it by setting operational parameters or adding other languages or applications.
